Yard Work

After Gabe's Thanksgiving Program, we headed over to Nana's house to visit with my sister Amy and her family and my Aunt Vinda. While we were there, Nana passed out the rakes and put the kids to work. They must have spent an hour or two raking leaves. Their big plan was to rake the leaves into a huge pile and jump in them. But, they were having such a good time raking that they forgot all about jumping! In fact, they were actually excited when they found that more leaves had fallen the next day!

Kids + rakes = Fun (and less work for the adults!)

We brought Brett along for quality control...he determined the pile just wasn't tall enough! Back to work!
Wow! They're such good workers, there's nothing left but dirt!
