So, what is it? It's golf with regular golf clubs and tennis balls played on a course that consists of hazards like horses, gopher holes, a muddy arena, really wet pastures, and a large barn. The goal, much like regular golf, is to hit the marked stake in the fewest number of swings.
Let the games begin...
Rondi and Dave (and Arago)
Ryder and Grandma Bea
Fabi and Shay
Uncle Tom's ball found it's way into a water/horse/mud hazard...
Jeff decided to brave the arena barefoot (gotta love the pile of manure just 5 feet in front of him!)
This was the idea...
In an effort to keep the kids and Arago out of the way, Dave decided to put a leash on Arago and have the kids take Arago for a walk around the property. It was a good idea, except for the fact that Arago CANNOT resist a tennis ball in motion! Will was bound and determined to keep a hold of the leash. His determination, mixed with Arago's love of the tennis ball equalled Will being laid out flat as Arago sprinted after the ball. This happened at least 4 times! The last time was caught on camera with Will yelling, "I got him!".
Just a couple of seconds faster with the camera and you would have seen Will looking more like a kite and less like a pull toy!

This was hillarious!! I didn't know that your dad made the game up. We used to play it for mutual when he was Bish, but I thought it was a real game. Anyway, fun photos!! Merry Christmas!!
