Wisconsin, Part 1

We'd been looking forward to our Wisconsin trip for months...and suddenly it was here! We were able to find a great direct flight from San Francisco to Milwaukee. Not only was the price right, but the flight times were perfect also!

The "big" boys entertained themselves in the airport by watching planes and...

watching videos.

Sam enjoyed slurping down his bottle in his own seat.

The boys were great travelers (and we lucked out by having an empty seat next to us...perfect for Mr. Sam!). The flight was (dare I say?) pleasant!

Our rental car was a tight squeeze, compared to our mini van...but somehow we managed to make it work (it's shocking we still managed to fit everything in at the end of the trip!).

Our first stop was to Mark's brother Steve's house. We were anxious to meet the newest member of the family, Tegh. We certainly weren't disappointed! He is adorable! Gabe and Will absolutely loved him. Sam wasn't too concerned with him, unless I was holding him...then the jealousy set in!

It wasn't long before we had to get on the road to Oshkosh to visit with Mark's sister Sue. We were all happy to reach our final destination for the evening! And the boys were thrilled to see more cousins! We got there pretty late, so there wasn't much time for visiting before bed.

The next day we went to visit Mark's mom, Lucy, and his sister Christine in Green Bay. Luckily, most of Sue's family came along and we were able to spend more time with them also. The boys had a great time playing with their cousins in the backyard.

After lunch, we headed to Bay Beach. Sam enjoyed his first ride on a Ferris Wheel. And the big boys loved all the rides and sno-cones. They were able to keep up with their cousins and had tons of fun!

When we were done at Bay Beach, we headed over to our hotel for the evening. One of the reasons we picked the hotel was because of the "water park" it had. It was great for the 10 and under crowd! Even Sam had a great time getting in and out, and crawling around in the shallowest sections (3 inches).

The following day, we headed over to the water park one more time before leaving. The final destination for the day was Three Lakes, WI. But, we thought we'd stop and visit Aunt Christine at the Karate school she works at before heading north. The boys love playing with all the equipment and felt pretty good about the board breaking abilities! Thanks Aunt Christine for letting us interrupt your work day and create chaos at your work!

We ended our day with the drive to Three Lakes. I loved all the beautiful scenery and the farms (plus, everything was GREEN!).
